2023-24 Volunteer Service Project Schedule (tentative)

OCTOBER 28 2pm-10pm - HALLOWEEN FRIGHT TRAIL

Gather your friends and sign up (in groups of five) to create and manage a “spooky station” at the Halloween Fright Trail fundraiser held at Skyview Farm with Robins Nest Foundation in North Castle Rock on Saturday, October 28. Address is 1705 Outter Marker Rd.

Once your group signs up, you will be contacted so you can tell us about your spooky station idea and how you will manage it. Once we approve of your plans, you will be given the opportunity on Saturday, October 28, between 2-4, to build and assemble your station in a little gully at the back of Skyview Farm. Your team must be ready to go by 4:30pm on Saturday, October 28 because guests will begin arriving at 5pm and go until 8pm. You will need to stay afterward to pack up your stations and help clean.

At 4:00pm, Chick-Fil-A will contribute sandwiches before the event begins at 5:00pm.

NOVEMBER 25 10am-2pm Teen Tech Turkey Time

Join Teen Service Crew to connect with some awesome seniors in Castle Rock at the Oakwood Community Room at 549 Oakwood Drive in Castle Rock at 10am. Aging Resources will introduce us to the residents and share their mission to serve senior citizens in Douglas County. You will then have the opportunity to help senior residents by showing them how to navigate their computer or phone…or maybe it’s downloading an app, or assisting them with step-by-step instructions on how to use their television remotes. Whatever tech savvy you have, bring it on and serve some new, older friends! During our turkey-time lunch, Fidelis Wealth Advisors will share a TeenFinancialLearningMoment!
